An experienced litigator and crisis manager, Alexandra Gallo develops goal-oriented strategies for corporations, fiduciaries, and individuals in variety of high-stakes matters.

Ms. Gallo focuses her practice in the areas of business litigation, corporate divorce, probate litigation, estate and trust litigation and administration, guardianship matters, commercial litigation, and general equity matters. Ms. Gallo has significant experience representing a variety of clients in federal and state trial and appellate courts, as well as in private arbitration. A vast majority of Ms. Gallo's practice involves emergent and expedited business litigation before the Chancery Courts of the State of New Jersey. She is also routinely appointed by courts in estate, trust, guardianship matters and business disputes.

Ms. Gallo’s depth of experience in handling highly sensitive and valuable matters enables her to bring a creative and tenacious approach to achieving client goals even in the most challenging of circumstances. Ms. Gallo also serves as a court-appointed mediator in a wide-range of Chancery matters. Prior to joining O'Toole Scrivo, LLC, Ms. Gallo was Of Counsel at an Am Law 200 firm, where she represented corporations and individuals in variety of matters, including several high-profile local government law disputes.

Ms. Gallo serves in several leadership positions within the New Jersey State Bar Association, including as a Co-Chair of the Equity Jurisprudence Committee. Ms. Gallo also currently serves as a Trustee of the New Jersey State Bar Foundation. Ms. Gallo is a graduate of Villanova University where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, with a concentration in Pre-Law and a minor in Philosophy. Ms. Gallo received her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law. Following law school, Ms. Gallo served as the law clerk to the Honorable R. Benjamin Cohen, Presiding Judge, Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Essex County (Ret.).

In April 2009, Ms. Gallo was presented with the Young Lawyers’ Section Achievement Award by the Essex County Bar Association. Ms. Gallo regularly lectures at seminars presented by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education, New Jersey State Bar Association and Essex County Bar Association regarding Chancery practice, business litigation, and professionalism.
