Mr. Ferriero focuses on construction defect matters, complex business disputes, and Labor Law defense. He brings a pragmatic and detail-driven approach to resolving disputes efficiently throughout all stages of litigation.

In New Jersey, Mr. Ferriero concentrates on construction defect and complex commercial litigation. He represents developers, owners, contractors, subcontractors, construction managers, and architects in multi-party disputes involving claims of design and workmanship defects, delays, insurance coverage, indemnification, and breach of contract. He also handles complex commercial and business litigation for plaintiffs and defendants. He assists clients from the earliest pre-suit evaluation and risk assessment stages through discovery, motion practice, mediation, and settlement. Mr. Ferriero is frequently called upon to resolve partnership disputes, breach of contract claims, and business tort matters, focusing on achieving favorable, cost-effective results that align with his clients’ business objectives.

In New York, Mr. Ferriero defends property owners, contractors, and subcontractors in Labor Law and general liability matters, particularly under Labor Law §§ 200, 240(1), and 241(6). He has extensive experience representing insureds and self-insured entities through all phases of litigation—from pre-suit investigation and discovery to dispositive motion practice and settlement. His litigation experience in both jurisdictions enables him to provide comprehensive and strategic counsel on cross-border construction and commercial disputes.
