David Chaise concentrates his practice on commercial litigation, construction law, and general liability defense.

Mr. Chaise has experience representing clients in both federal and state courts and before arbitral tribunals, involving construction defect litigation, premises liability, construction site accidents, negligent security, professional malpractice, and franchise disputes. He focuses on representing property owners and contractors in the defense of construction accident and construction defect claims. He has handled numerous matters involving multi-million dollar claims against clients, including wrongful death claims arising from alleged negligent security.

Although Mr. Chaise’s practice is litigation-oriented and generally concentrated in New York, he also represents clients in New Jersey. He regularly engages in informal methods of dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration.

Before joining O’Toole Scrivo, Mr. Chaise prosecuted and defended disputes involving childcare, entertainment, restaurant hospitality, clothing apparel, and various franchise industries. He provides a spirited defense for his clients with a results-driven and cost-effective approach.
