Daniel Rocco is a seasoned and aggressive litigator with more than a decade of experience defending a wide variety of claims in numerous practice areas.

Mr. Rocco’s practice focuses on defending tort actions, ranging from premises liability, construction accidents, New York Labor Law, and product liability to the defense of transportation liability cases, including motor carriers, municipal bus operators, school bus companies, paratransit operators, and livery companies.

Prior to joining O’Toole Scrivo, Mr. Rocco handled complex, high-exposure cases arising out of New York’s Labor Law, property damage, and catastrophic injuries as a House Counsel attorney for one of the largest insurance carriers in the United States. He was also a partner at an AmLaw 100 law firm with offices located nationwide.

While in law school, Mr. Rocco received the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence for obtaining the highest grade in the class for Advanced Trial Advocacy - Witness Examination, and he also actively competed against other law schools as a member of the Polestino Trial Advocacy Institute’s external mock trial competition team, where he and his teammates earned multiple national and regional awards.

Mr. Rocco has extensive experience litigating throughout the New York City and New York State Court systems, and he leverages his prior experience by working to provide his clients with the type of insights necessary to deliver the best possible outcomes swiftly and effectively.
