OS Elevates Ten Attorneys in 2023

OS is pleased to announce the promotion of ten of its attorneys: five to Partner and five to Of Counsel, effective January 1, 2023.

The attorneys promoted to Partner are:

Deena Crimaldi concentrates her practice on construction, product liability, general commercial, and mass liability toxic tort litigation. She represents corporations involved in talc and asbestos litigation, toxic tort litigation, construction, and other complex cases in multiple jurisdictions. She earned a B.A., cum laude, from Fairfield University and her J.D. from New York Law School.

R. Brant Forrest has extensive experience in commercial litigation, environmental litigation, and business transactions in the construction, surety, and government contracting industries. He represents clients in contract disputes, delay claims, lien claims, project management, bid protests, surety bond claims, construction defects, and CERCLA and New Jersey Spill Act claims. He received a B.S. from Pennsylvania State University and his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law.

Edward Ryan focuses his practice on civil litigation defense and complex litigation, including premises liability, construction site injuries, dram shop and social host liability, wrongful death claims, trucking and transportation, insurance coverage and bad-faith litigation, product liability, and professional liability. He received a B.A. from Rutgers University and his J.D. from New York Law School.

Marlin Townes specializes in labor, employment, municipal, and education law. He counsels clients on a broad spectrum of labor, employment, and municipal matters, including disciplinary actions and terminations, labor relations, statutory, regulatory, and policy developments, procurement, government records requests, and land use. Additionally, he conducts external investigations on behalf of public-sector employers. He received a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and his J.D. from William & Mary School of Law.

Young Yu counsels and represents corporate and individual clients from pre-suit investigation through verdict in state and federal courts, arbitrations, and other dispute resolution forums. He helps clients navigate and resolve shareholder, partnership, and joint venture disputes. He received a B.A. from The College of New Jersey and his J.D. from Rutgers Law School.

The attorneys promoted to Of Counsel are:

David Chaise concentrates his practice on commercial litigation, construction law, and general liability defense. He represents clients in federal and state courts and before arbitral tribunals involving construction defect litigation, premises liability, construction site accidents, negligent security, professional malpractice, and franchise disputes. He received a B.A. from George Washington University and his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law.

Glenn Chew has experience in product liability litigation, mass torts, and toxic torts. He counsels clients on developments and issues in New Jersey and New York’s asbestos mass tort dockets, assisting his clients in understanding an area of complex litigation and how to proceed accordingly. He earned a B.A. from Washington College and his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law.

Kenneth Goodman represents businesses, municipalities, and individuals in high-stakes litigation in state and federal courts. His practice encompasses general liability and employment litigation, including LAD, CEPA, and Civil Rights claims, as well as labor contract negotiations. He received a B.A. from Rutgers College and his J.D., cum laude, from Seton Hall University School of Law.

Stephanie Mishler’s practice includes complex commercial litigation, general liability defense, sexual abuse, negligent hiring, retention, and supervision. She advises clients on risk mitigation and litigation strategy. She received a B.A. from Colgate University and her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law.

Cassandra Jahnke Walsh focuses on complex commercial litigation, business torts, shareholder, member, and partnership disputes, and professional liability. She also represents fiduciaries of estates and trusts and advises clients as part of an outside general counsel team, including amending bylaws and performing contract reviews and revisions. She received a B.S. cum laude from Villanova University and her J.D., magna cum laude, from Seton Hall University School of Law.
